the backend went through at least 2 complete rewrites, one in clojure and one in nodejs
the data model stayed pretty much the same since 2014 or whatever

right now i’ve only proved out a filesystem provider + ported a bit of https://github.com/pikdum/plugin.video.haru to a haru provider
still need to figure out how to represent things like middleware that keeps track of what you’ve watched and can list your shows you haven’t finished
