the initial commit of the frontend was 7 years ago and used vue
the backend went through at least 2 complete rewrites, one in clojure and one in nodejs
the data model stayed pretty much the same since 2014 or whatever

-> switch
record player -> little bear preamp -> switch
switch -> lepai amp -> powered subwoofer -> bookshelf speakers

DT 770 PRO
32 ohms, so I’m guessing I shouldn’t neccessarily need anything particularly high-end. Definitely not something that costs twice as much as the cans themselves.

I got my PS3 hooked up to the monitor, though, whose output jack is pretty weak. So I figured since the PC’s audio is already hooked to it aswell I’d just slap an amp in front of it.

Exactly. All the other consoles are connected to the second TV, which drives the headphones plenty well by itself.

Meh, if I can make it moderately louder without adding a considerable amount of noise on top, I’ll be happy enough.

Shouldn’t really factor into how readable a shape is. That’s pretty much just a zoom level.

There’s a reason they made the fairies orbs with wings in N64 Zelda. I don’t think there were many players who couldn’t tell what they were supposed to be when they first showed up.
